Essentials in English

The Essentials (developed by the school) are in line with curriculum requirements and explain what a child should be expected to know in each year of their educational life. Each attached table describes the essentials in adult and child-friendly terms.

Key Stage 1 and EYFS Reading and Phonics schemes used in school

Reception Class and Key Stage 1 use the follow materials to support the teaching of reading - Project X reading scheme, ORT reading tree and 'Floppy' Phonics.
